Alhambra, CA -

(FOX 11) Fire officials say a female bus driver may have 'blacked out or something" at around 8:43pm along the westbound 10 freeway near the 710 transition.  The bus carrying roughly fourteen people crashed into the right hand sound wall then veered across the freeway crashing into the left center divider.

Officials say luckily the bus didn't hit any other cars.  The bus driver and seven passengers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, one sustained moderate injures.

One passenger says she was sleeping on the bus when all of a sudden she saw the bus ram into the sound wall.  She said she was "freaked out, and was expecting to die."

Another bus came to pick up the remaining handful of riders who were uninjured to take them to their destination.
