NH police search for suspect accused of planting skimmer on ATM

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in Portsmouth, N.H. are investigating the discovery of a skimming device at a Bank of America ATM located at 3 Pleasant Street.

Investigators say the device was placed on the ATM between July 14 and July 18. They are looking for a suspect described as a white man with brown hair who is accused of planting the device. At the time of the incident, he was wearing sunglasses, a red t-shirt, and gray pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Adam Kozlowski at (603) 610-7538. Tips can be made anonymously to the Seacoast Crime Stoppers at 603-431-1199 or by texting CRIMES (2746327) with "TIPSCS" in the message. Anonymous tips can also be made online at www.seacoastcrimestoppers.org.

Information leading to an arrest and indictment could result in a cash reward of up to $1,000.
