Police: Man tied up during alleged Stoughton home invasion

STOUGHTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Stoughton are investigating an alleged home invasion that occurred at an apartment in the Buckley Road complex Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, two dark-skinned males wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas entered an unlocked apartment, tied up and threatened the occupant with a knife, and searched the home at about 12:16 p.m.

Police responded to the apartment, but the alleged home invasion had occurred several minutes before being reported.

An investigation is ongoing.

Police do not believe the incident was a random act of violence.
