(MyFoxBoston.com) – A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Hillsborough County in southern New Hampshire.
The warning will expire at 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rainfall in the last few hours has been estimated to have already fallen.
Thunderstorms are expected to continue to develop across the warned area increasing the longevity of flash flooding, potentially requiring both the expansion in area and extension in time of the Flash Flood Warning.
Some locations impacted include Manchester, Bedford, Goffstown, Amherst, Weare, Peterborough, Hillsborough, New Boston, Antrim, Mont Vernon, Deering, Greenfield, Lyndeborough, Hancock, Francestown, Bennington, Temple, Harrisville, Sharon, and Windsor.
