Cape Air cuts off-season flights between Hyannis, Martha's Vineyard
HYANNIS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Cape Air has announced it will no longer offer off-season flights between Hyannis and Martha's Vineyard.
The company announced on its website Monday that the flights would end October 22 and pick back up again next May.
Direct service to the Vineyard from Boston, New Bedford and Nantucket will remain year-round.
According to its website, Cape Air has a fleet 74 nine-seat Cessna 402s that it uses across the continental United States. It also has two larger turboprop aircraft that it uses in the Pacific, on routes to and from Guam under contract for United Airlines.
