Wednesday morning could see recording breaking cold temps
Boston hit a record low Tuesday morning at 44 degrees, breaking the 1986 mark of 45. Highs rebounded to near 60, but it will be another cold morning Wednesday. The record low in Boston is 41 and it will be close. The difference Wednesday afternoon will be a wind shift to the west. It will bring in milder air, pushing our highs to around 70.
Milder air is on the way through the remainder of the week. Highs will reach into the 70s Thursday and Friday, with still no chance for rain. In fact, I don't expect any rain until Sunday as a cold front slowly crosses the area. That could mean some rain for the Patriots game (on FOX 25, 1 p.m.) against Tampa Bay.
Pollen levels continue to be moderate, with ragweed leading the way. The tropics have been more active, but nothing is threatening the U.S. at the moment. Shiri will have the latest in the morning.
