Miley Cyrus Poses Nude, Cites Philly As Catalyst For Her New ID
The artist formerly known as Hannah Montana poses naked for the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. She also shares some very fond memories in her Rolling Stone interview.
Miley Cyrus calls herself a semi-nudist in the article. In the interview, Miley talks about her family, her career, and about her transformation. The 20-year-old is still responding to her racy performance at the VMA'S. Cyrus admitted that the always-controversial Kanye West gave her a pep talk before she went on stage.
She adds that she still doesn't understand why it was such a big deal and why more people aren't blasting Robin Thicke for his part in the performance, calling it a double standard.
Cyrus says it was a summer in Philadelphia that led to the new Miley. She was living with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth at the time. Hemsworth was filming the movie Paranoia with Harrison Ford.
Cyrus mentions shopping on South Street, where she bought her first chain. She had time to shop and she bought a pair of Doc Martins. Then she shaved her head and drove around in a Ford Explorer and felt like she was blending in.
FOX 29's Mike Jerrick remembers the day he saw her in his building. He was sitting in his building relaxing and saw her heading out.
"She looked liked Hannah Montana," Mike recalls. And then when Miley returned, Mike said, she completely changed her appearance.
