A cold pool of air over eastern Canada continues to spin some clouds our way, along with cool autumn air. It is still dry enough to keep rain out of the forecast. In fact, it will spin farther east by Friday, taking most of the clouds out of the forecast as well. Sunshine will dominate as high pressure crests over New England through the weekend.
There is a lot of stormy weather in the Atlantic to our south. There will be a storm forming out there that will move northeast. The latest model data keeps it just offshore with a glancing blow to Cape Cod. It would likely bring clouds to southern New England with some rain possible on Cape Cod and the islands. It isn't a certain path, so we have to just monitor it.
Seems the great weather will make it through the weekend. That means continued ragweed pollen problems for those allergic. No frost in the forecast now. Just cool autumn temperatures each day, finally getting above average Saturday. Highs will make it to the 70s both weekend days.
