Julia Ormond: It's Wild Tongue-And-Cheek Fun

Posted: Updated:

Julia Ormond is a witch. Actually she's not, but she plays one on TV.

Julia stars in the upcoming Lifetime series, "Witches of East End," as the head of an entire family of witches living in a secluded East Coast town by the sea.

"It's fun," Julia tells Steve Edwards on Good Day L.A.  It's kind of saucy in tone, a little tongue-in-cheek."

She adds, "What I like about it is it's a family of women, a family of witches, but it's very much the family stuff and everything gets amplified.  I have these two lovely girls who are my daughters."  She also has a sister who can shape-shift into a cat.  "I have a lot of powers, but they haven't shape-shifted me yet.  So we'll see if that's something that comes up down the line.
