The Delaware valley has always been a major destination for many cultures. Namely, the Swedish and the Native American cultures.
Karen Hepp and Q-Deezy talked to Walter Anderson from the American Swedish Historical Museum. Anderson and friends were outside the studio giving a preview of the really fun and family-friendly event to take place this Saturday.
The event seeks to honor the Lenape Indians, which are the first tribe that the Swedes met when they explored the Delaware Valley.
According to Anderson, the name Lenape was later given to them by Lord Delaware, when the Dutch settled in Delaware.
Watch the Good Day segment as FOX 29 talks to various people involved in planning the "Drums Along The Delaware Powwow" and learns about American Indian culture.
