Alleged Ponzi schemer's car tagged with graffiti

Posted: Updated:

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The son of an alleged Ponzi scheme mastermind had his car spray painted with the word "Ponzi" Thursday, apparent revenge perhaps from one of the disgruntled investors who in all have lost $10 million, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney.

Steven Paladino is charged with running the Ponzi scheme along with his son Gregory, whose car was tagged, and his wife, Lori. All have pleaded not guilty.

Police reports show that Paladino was living the good life, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars at casinos as well as trips to the Bahamas and other luxe items all the while squandering millions of his investors' money.
