Trappers catch wild hog in Lithonia

Posted: Updated:
LITHONIA, Ga. -

Trappers have caught at least one of the wild pigs that have been terrorizing a Lithonia neighborhood.

Residents in the Stonebridge Crescent area say that a group of wild hogs have been tearing through trash and scaring neighbors in the last few days.

On Thursday night, one boar's brush with the suburbs ended when it crossed paths with hog hunter Tavarres Dennis.

Dennis said he and his dog caught the 400-pound hog in Tracy Hull's backyard.

The hog hunt will continue as several neighbors have stated that they've spotted numerous pigs roaming in the area.
