U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations is seeking the public's help identifying a man suspected of stealing the identity of several metro-Detroit residents. Officials say he uses legitimate identification modified with his photo to withdraw funds from area banks. He has been seen in several Macomb, Oakland and Wayne county banks making cash withdrawals.

Authorities describe the suspect as a slender black man, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing about 160 pounds and is aged in his mid-to-late 60s. He is sometimes seen in surveillance video wearing corrective eye glasses and using a cane to walk, but this is suspected to be a ploy. HSI special agents believe he is still living in the metro-Detroit area.

Anyone with any information on the man's whereabouts is asked to contact HSI immediately, in one of three ways:
· Call HSI Detroit at 313-226-0500
· Call the HSI Tip Line at 1-866-347-2423
· Submit a tip online at
