Man Attacked With Baseball Bat At Gas Station

WILLINGBORO, N.J. -

According to Willingboro Police, a 67-year-old man was robbed and attacked after being hit by a baseball bat.

The robbery happened at the Citgo Gas station on 33 Levitt Parkway on Tuesday night, according to officials. The victim was transported to Cooper Medical Center in Camden with a head injury; the suspect fled on foot on Shawmont Lane.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, about 5'11 with a thin build. Anyone who may have information regarding this robbery is asked to contact the Willingboro Police Department at 609-877-3001 or call the Citizen Tip Line at 609-877-6958.
