Posted: Updated:

HYANNIS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police on Cape Cod are searching for whoever spray painted a backwards swastika on a synagogue in Hyannis.

Investigators say vandals took aim at the Cape Cod Synagogue late Thursday night.

They say the vandals also sprayed images related to marijuana on Cape Auto Sales and Extreme Audio Cape Cod.

The same vandals may have traveled down Yarmouth Road laying graffiti on exits 7 and 8.

Anyone with information is asked to call Barnstable police.
