MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Authorities in New Hampshire said they have found an inmate who walked away from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester Friday.
Antonio Lionel Dustin, 53, was permitted to leave the facility at 4 a.m. to go to work, but failed to return at his 6 p.m. scheduled time. He was placed on walkaway status at 7 p.m.
According to the New Hampshire Dept. of Corrections, Dustin was convicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court for failure to register as a sex offender and received a 1 ½ to four-year sentence. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on March 13, 2012 and was eligible for parole on Sept. 8, 2013. His maximum release date will be March 11, 2016.
Dustin was found in Manchester Monday morning and will be taken back to prison.
