NATICK, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Natick police are warning residents about a suspicious man who asked two young boys if they wanted a ride.

Investigators say the boys were walking near 249 North Main Street just after 11 a.m. on Sept. 28 when a man in an older model green Expedition began beeping his horn to get their attention. The boys say the man then asked in a loud voice, "Do you want a ride?"

The boys parted ways and the driver turned around to pass one of them again before moving on.

The man is described as white, 45 to 48 years old, with a thin, light brown and gray beard, and a thin mustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a worn out Red Sox hat with a navy blue and white brim. His car had some rust on the rear left bumper.

Anyone with information about this man is asked to call Natick police at 508-647-9520.
