MANSFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Mass. State Police told commuters to expect delays on I-95 southbound Friday following an afternoon crash.
Police responded to reports of a car in a body of water located on the median of I-95 south in Mansfield at about 2 p.m. The highway was closed for a few moments so a medical helicopter could land. One lane reopened by 2:30 p.m.
State troopers requested the helicopter for the driver after they lost consciousness. Their condition is unknown.
Drivers were told to expect delays as crews worked to clean up following the crash. Police officials brought in a crane to remove the car, which was overturned in the water and leaking fuel.
