MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Authorities are releasing new details in their search for a hit-and-run driver who fatally injured a bicyclist last week.

Fifty-eight-year-old Michael Dutra was struck at about 7 p.m. Friday as he was riding or walking his bike along Wood Street in Middleborough, where he lived.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz and Middleborough Police Chief Bruce Gates said Monday night investigators have pieced together debris that appears to be from a light-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, model year 2005 to 2009. They say the suspect SUV probably is missing the front marker lens, has a broken right headlight lens and a damaged right front bumper.

Dutra's daughter Michelle Dutra has called for the driver to come forward. She says her family is devastated by her father's death.
