Attorney General Joseph Foster issued a report Tuesday on the shooting of 45-year-old Wendy Lawrence of Canterbury by Trooper Chad Lavoie.
Lawrence was stopped on Sept. 30 on I-89 in Bow when a trooper saw her driving erratically.
She handed the officer a non-driver's license identification and told him she had a valid license. The trooper returned to his cruiser to verify the information and discovered that Lawrence had a suspended license. Lawrence drove off and a pursuit followed in which several troopers tried to stop Lawrence in Manchester.
Foster said Lavoie shot at Lawrence when she accelerated and drove toward him.
The AG's office said she was shot four times. Toxicology results released by the DA said Lawrence had a blood alcohol level of .182 and had marijuana, Oxycodone and Prozac in her system.
