Drinks On A Plane? There Could Be A Loophole

For anyone who's hit the airport bar to quell the pain and degradation of airport security, here's some good news. You CAN take your own alcohol through TSA security if you follow the same rules for other liquids.

Travel blogger The Travel Ninja discovered this loophole after talking to a TSA supervisor. As long as your mini booze bottles are 3oz or less, you can stuff as many as possible in a 1 quart zip-lock bag and bring them on through! They sell for about $2.50 in liquor stores but airports will charge up to $7 for the same amount.

The only catch?

It's illegal to drink your own alcohol aboard the plane, so you'll want to get your buzz on before boarding.
