Game two ceremonies include '04 Sox, tribute to marathon victims

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Red Sox fans can expect uniquely Boston ceremonies during game two of the World Series.

The game will kick off with members of the 2004 World Series champion Boston Red Sox throwing our the ceremonial first pitches.

Beloved Boston native James Taylor will sing the National Anthem prior to the start of the game. The five-time Grammy Award-winning singer will also sing "America the Beautiful" in the middle of the 7th inning.

An in-game tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy is also planned.

Game two is dedicated to celebrating the work of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity, and the Baseball Tomorrow Fund. All three organizations are long-time MLB partners.

Coverage of game two of the World Series begins at 5 p.m. during the FOX 25 News. The game begins at 8:07 p.m.
