A chilly October air mass settled into New England Thursday and will stay with us. Friday and Saturday will be cold. A FROST ADVISORY is posted for coastal areas all the way to the Cape Cod bridges, except for the City of Boston. I do think there is the risk of frost there as well, though, especially Saturday morning.
Clouds will increase Saturday afternoon as a warm front passes to our west, but the day will be dry. The cold front swings through Sunday morning with scattered showers. The skies will brighten in time for the Patriots game at Gillette Stadium. Game time temperature will be in the mid-50s. The next possibility of rain comes for Halloween, at least according to one of our computer models. We are keeping it dry for now.
The Red Sox play the next two out in St. Louis. Both Saturday and Sunday nights will be dry and cool. You can see it all on FOX 25.
