Police: More Video Of Society Hill Shooting Suspects, Car

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police have released yet more surveillance video of two suspects wanted in the shooting of a man in Philadelphia's Society Hill section.

It was last Monday at 1:45 a.m. when the 33-year-old victim was returning to his vehicle on the 100 block of Walnut Street and approached by two men, both armed with handguns demanding his car keys, police say.

When the victim ran, one of the suspects fired one shot, striking him in his back.

Police say both of the suspects then ran west on the 200 block of Walnut Street.

Police describe both of the suspects as black males between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds and armed with handguns. One wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants. The other wore a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.

The video also shows from several angles the vehicle they allegedly drove, which police say is a late-model silver or gray sedan, possibly a Honda Accord, with dark tinted windows and a sunroof. The vehicle has factory seven-spoke rims.

If you see these suspects, police say not to approach them; call 9-1-1 immediately. To submit a tip, call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text one to PPD TIP (773847).
