Anaheim, CA -

(FOX 11/CNS) - Anaheim police sought the public's help today tracking down a man suspected of participating in the murder of a 38-year-old man this month.

Mario Alberto Flores, 28, was one of four men sought in the Oct. 18 killing of 38-year-old Angel Jesus Lopez Valladares of Anaheim, Anaheim police Lt. Tim Schmidt said.

Valladres got into an argument that escalated into a fight in the 600 block of East Eton Place, Schmidt said. Investigators declined to discuss the source of the dispute while Flores is still at-large.

Flores and three other men allegedly beat and then shot the victim, Schmidt said.

Flores, a documented gang member, was on parole, Schmidt said.

The co-defendants are Jose Enrique Canul, 29, Alberto Canul Robles, 27, and Joel Avila, 19. They are charged with murder with gang sentencing enhancements and street terrorism. They were scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 15.

He is considered armed and dangerous and has a history of drug dealing and possession of guns, Schmidt said.

Flores is 5-foot-8, weighs about 215 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, Schmidt said. He has the letters "SA" tattooed on his neck and a star below his left ear, Schmidt said.

Flores, nicknamed "Happy," was last seen driving a 1985 blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a California license plate of 519538W.

Flores has family in Anaheim, Santa Ana and in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Anyone with more information, including anonymous tips, was asked to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS.
