Boston flight to LAX diverted after shooting

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Virgin America flight to Los Angeles International Airport from Boston was diverted after gunfire erupted at the airport Friday.

A number of media outlets reported several people were injured in the shooting.

Virgin America flight 363 from Logan Airport appeared to make it to a point just outside of Los Angeles before turning around toward Las Vegas, according to FlightAware.com.

JetBlue flight 287 was listed as En Route/On Time to LAX, FlightAware.com reported.

The FAA had stopped all flights prepared to take off for LAX. A reporter for MyFoxLA.com was reporting that flights from LAX had begun to take off again.
