Posted: Updated:

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) –The all clear was given at Massachusetts Bay Community College campuses after bomb threats prompted evacuations Tuesday afternoon.

Framingham police said a note was found on the back of a bathroom door at the Framingham campus at around 3 p.m. indicating there was a bomb at the school, and it was going to blow up.

The building was evacuated and the Mass. State Police Bomb Squad was called to the scene.

A student told FOX 25 that police had responded to the Wellesley Hills campus Tuesday morning after a threatening note was found in another bathroom.

People on campus received a email that read, "This is an emergency. If you are on MassBay's Framingham campus, calmly head to the nearest exit and move at least 500 feet from the building immediately."

The @MassBayCommCol Twitter account Tweeted all classes and activities were canceled Tuesday evening. The account later Tweeted that an all clear had been given and classes would resume Wednesday as normal.
