$25,000 Reward Offered In Holmesburg Armored Car Heist

PHILADELPHIA -

An armored car company has put up a reward for information related to a heist that occurred last week in Holmesburg.

Garda, the armored car company, has posted a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunmen who pulled off the heist, according to an FBI spokeswoman.

The robbery occurred Thursday morning outside of a Wells Fargo Bank on Frankford Avenue's 8000 block, at Rhawn Street.

FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser reported that the take from the heist on Frankford Avenue was $300,000.

Police describe the three suspects as black males wearing Halloween masks, hoodies and armed with TEC-9 semi-automatic handguns.
