LA Paranormal: Way Beyond Ghost Stories

Posted: Updated:

A light flickers. You hear someone humming at a distance. There's a sudden temperature drop in the hall. Eerie events happen daily...and the investigators with LA Paranormal are convinced that some of these unexplainable events are caused by ghosts or spirits.

Our own Julie Chang joined LA Paranormal in scoping out the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts which used to be the Lincoln Heights County Jail back in the 1930s. It's strongly believed that some of these inmates still roam the halls of the theatre. Some staff members with the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts say they have seen ghosts clear-as-day...some who even sing the opera!

And over at the iconic Pantages theatre in Hollywood...it's believed the ghost of Howard Hughes is still lingering throughout the building. The mogul was once seen walking into thin air right off the mezzanine! And it appears Mr. Hughes has some company. The folks with Pantages say there are 7 regular spirits that hang out at the theatre, including a dog that barks down by the pipelines. So the next time you see a door swing open by itself...maybe it's just Howard Hughes showcasing his chivalry.
