Family Tied Up, Tortured in Home Invasion Robbery

Police are investigating a home invasion robbery in Northeast Philadelphia where the suspects tied up a family, made threats and even burned one of the family members.

The incident happened just after 7 P.M. on the 1500 block of Rosalie Street. The suspects made their way into the home through a basement door that was open and electrician was doing work. The adults were tied up in the home and one of the children inside was threatened by a suspect. The suspects demanded for money multiple times inside the residence.

A knife was put on a stove and used to burn one of the women inside of the home. The suspects made off with about $4,000 and cell phones in the home.

No other injuries were reported at the home.
