AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn carries championship aspirations into its game with No. 25 Georgia.

Before the season, it figured to be the other way around. The seventh-ranked Tigers control their own destiny in the SEC West with the Bulldogs visiting Saturday and No. 1 Alabama in two weeks.

Auburn tight end C.J. Uzomah concedes to some the role switchup is "kind of eye-opening or shocking."

The Bulldogs have won the past two meetings each by 38 points in a longstanding border rivalry that is deadlocked through 116 meetings.

Georgia coach Mark Richt says what Auburn counterpart Gus Malzahn has done in his first season is "super impressive."

Auburn is but a field goal favorite in the Deep South's oldest rivalry. It's tied at 54-54-8 with an average margin of less than a point.
