Waitress Says She Wasn't Given Tip Because She's Gay

Posted: Updated:
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. -

A waitress in New Jersey doesn't get a tip, and she says it's because she's gay.

Instead of writing in a tip amount on her $93 bill, she says a customer wrote a note spelling that out for her.

"I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle & how you live your life."

This happened at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater.

Dana says she was shocked. The waitress, who has served in the U.S. Marine Corps, says the customers also told her "to have a gay day."

The restaurant's manager says he won't tolerate discrimination of any kind and the customers will never be welcomed back.
