HYANNIS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Barnstable police detectives arrested four people on Friday in connection with a five-month-long drug distribution investigation.

Police, along with the Cape DEA Drug Task Force, targeted 26-year-old Hyannis resident Terence Silvera and members of his organization.

Silvera had been arrested in 2010 and 2011, and in 2012 sentenced to three years in state prison for trafficking cocaine. In less than a year, however, Silvera was released, due to the state drug lab scandal and mishandling of samples by chemist Annie Dookhan.

On Friday, police followed Silvera from Barnstable Superior Court, where he was making an appearance on a previous drug charge, to the International Inn & Suites on Main Street in Hyannis. According to Barnstable police, Silvera and members of his group had been selling and distributing drugs from the Inn for months.

Outside of a room at the inn, detectives arrested Silvera, who had approximately $5,000 cash on him. Inside the room, detectives also arrested three of Silvera’s associates.

When police searched the room, they found approximately 90 grams of heroin, 28 grams of cocaine, and smaller quantities of marijuana and Molly, the street name of what is supposed to be a pure form of MDMA, the main ingredient in ecstasy.  The street value of the drugs seized is was more than $20,000.

Along with Silvera, 19-year-old Theresa Rose and 23-year-old Vaughnay Rose, both of Hyannis, as well as 20-year-old Boston resident Domenik Robinson, will all be arraigned in Barnstable Superior Court on Monday.

All will be charged with conspiracy to violate the controlled substance abuse act, trafficking heroin, and trafficking cocaine. Theresa Rose will also be charged with possession of a Class B drug.
