Allen Park police say two people were injured in a shooting that took place outside an Allen Park community center, which had been rented out for a birthday party Saturday night.

Fox 2's Amy Lange reports a rap group was about to perform at the party when a second rap group showed up and a fight broke out. Surveillance video shows people exiting the building into the parking lot. In the parking lot is where the gunshots were fired, which is also seen on video.

Police say they recovered 15 nine millimeter shell casings at the scene.

Two people are recovering after gunshot injuries. One person was shot in the hand and the second person was injured in the shoulder and eye, police say.

Jeanette Tobias from the Allen Park Community Center says the center serves many in the community.
