Detroit police say two people are dead and a third person is injured after a shooting in a home on the city's west side. The shooting happened late Thursday night.

Police say the victims were inside a home on Pinehurst Street when the suspects forced their way into the home and started shooting.

"When they came, they just came shooting. They didn't knock, they just instantly started shooting," says "Donetta", a woman who was there during the shootout. She says about eight other people were in the home at the time, including a six-month old child she was babysitting.

Fox 2's Robin Schwartz reports the third victim was pulling up in a vehicle when he was shot in the arm while honking his horn, possibly to warn the people inside the home.

Witnesses say the suspects also took money, about a hundred dollars, from the table where the people had been playing poker moments before. Witnesses also believe the two men who were killed were targeted for no reason.

"Donetta" tells Schwartz, "They [were] just over here to have a good time. They [weren't] coming to buy no drugs, they didn't sell drugs. They [were] just coming to visit us and play cards."

Police have vague descriptions of the suspects at this time, and are looking for a green Dodge Caravan. If you have any information call Detroit Police.
