Posted: Updated:

WRENTHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are investigating the handling of a 911 call following the dragging death of a woman in Wrentham.

Police said 22-year-old Moses Acloque refused to pay his bill at the Arbor Inn, prompting an argument with motel workers.

Acloque jumped in his truck and tried to leave the parking lot, striking a parked car and the hotel managers, Kanchenben Patel and her husband. Patel became stuck in the truck's wheel well and was dragged more than three miles down Route 1. Her body was found in a restaurant parking lot in Foxboro.

Wrentham Police are now investigating the handling of the 911 call about the incident. Details about what is being specifically reviewed were not immediately known. The dispatcher who was on the call has been on the job for 15 years.

Acloque has pleaded not guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident. He'll be in court next month.
