An 11-year-old boy remains in extremely critical condition Monday evening after he was shot in the head while playing with a gun with another young boy inside a Dearborn Heights home, police say.

The boy who shot the gun is the son of the victim's mother's boyfriend, police say. The 15 year old was said to be in town visiting, and somehow got ahold of the gun which is his grandmother's. Adults were inside the home at the time of the incident, but none were aware the boys had a weapon.
