A woman says she and her two kids were awakened Wednesday morning in their Oak Park home by five men armed with guns. Raquel Reaves says the men forced them out of bed, onto the floor and then tied up the kids with cable cords.

The men wanted money but Reaves didn't have any, so she says she convinced them to take her to another house where she could get money to give them. They all left in her burgundy-colored 2007 Yukon. She says her motives for this were to also get the men away from her kids, aged 18 and 14 years old.

At some point she managed to escape and call police. Her vehicle is still missing and was last seen on Biltmore Street in Detroit.

Reaves says she did not see the men's faces because she and her family kept their heads down during the incident.
