Crime Stoppers asking for tips in the murder of Tyler Taylor

Tyler "T.J. / Ty" Taylor was killed on Thursday, October 17, 2013 on Detroit's east side. He was found lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound at 10 in the morning in the 12000 block of Duchess near Kelly and Morang Streets.

Tyler had just turned 20 the week before his death.  He was preparing for his GED after attending Denby High School. He belonged to Leviticus MB Church in Detroit. Tyler loved taking care of his family.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in connection with his murder. If the information is given before midnight on the day of the Crime Stoppers news conference (Nov. 27) the reward will increase by $1,000.
