Jose, Ansel, Crystal and Araceli: Ready To Complete A Family

Posted: Updated:

This time of year can often be both wonderful and circus-like – with lots of things to juggle and all of it requiring time, preparation and someone to guide the way. To learn a little bit about the actual art of juggling as well as to kick off their holiday celebration, siblings Jose, Ansel, Crystal and Araceli joined us at the Ramos Bros. Circus – and thanks to co-owner of the circus and former NBA basketball player Brad Wright, the kids went home with new bikes!

Jose (1999) is a motivated student and his favorite subject is Math. Jose feels a responsibility as the "big brother" to try to be a good example for his siblings. Jose enjoys watching sports such as basketball and football, with his favorite football team being the Giants. He stated that when he grows up he plans to attend USC and become an FBI agent. It seems protecting is in his nature.

Ansel (2004) is a boy who is initially shy with strangers but once he feels comfortable, he lets his funny, affectionate and outgoing side shine. He does well in school and loves Science. Like his big brother, he wants to become an FBI agent when he grows up. Ansel is active and his favorite sports are soccer and basketball, with his current favorite team being Lakers.

Crystal (2006) is a very energetic little girl who can become gabby and enjoys read-alongs with others. Crystal has a warm personality and is usually wearing a smile. Crystal is a bright student and enjoys school and has a particular bond with her little sister, Araceli.

Araceli (2007) can be a shy little girl who becomes more comfortable when in the presence of her sister. When Araceli and Crystal are together they love to giggle and play together. Araceli loves dolls and playing hide-and-go-seek. Araceli is eager to go to school with her older siblings.

So while this sibling set enjoyed juggling the fun activities and new bikes that their day with Ramos Circus included, what they deserve is to grow up together in a permanent home as part of a forever family, surrounded by loved ones who will guide them and help them juggle what life throws their way.

    A Rare Condition

    Monday, April 21 2014 11:24 AM EDT2014-04-21 15:24:17 GMT
Hell on earth, that's how some doctors describe Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa also known as E.B. It's a horrible genetic disease that Nicky Zahorcak was born with. A lot of his skin is raw, the slightest touch can cause blisters that quickly spread. He says, "Right now, all the bandages that you see everywhere even on my sides, they're all raw skin." His mother Silvia says very few people know about this rare condition and she wants to change that.

A little shy at first but quick to warm up, this week's Wednesday's Child is athletic and sports-minded. But sports alone do not define Curtis (2004) and his interests – he also has an aptitude for math
