Detroit teen robbed at gunpoint, forced to walk home in underwear

"My son got robbed in an alley - I might not have seen him no more."

Andre Faison says his 13-year-old boy was walking home around 6 p.m. Thursday after getting some food at a party store when two men in a gray car pulled up near him on Steel Street and West Chicago. The men got out of the vehicle, pointed a gun at the boy and said they wanted his jeans, coat and hat.

The boy gave up his True Religion jeans, his black North Face coat and rabbit fur-lined winter hat. The two men left and the boy walked home in just his boots and underwear.

"Did you have my 13-year-old son come home butt-naked, with boxers on, freezing - he could have froze to death! You didn't care about that, so as far as I'm concerned, I hope they catch you," Monique Quinney, the victim's mother, says.

The victim had a cell phone. He says the gunman looked at it and threw it in the snow. Dad went back later to look for the phone.

"My son had an Obama phone, so he had left his phone home. So the guy took the phone and he was like, 'It's an Obama phone!' so he threw it. So I went back to the scene and found it and looked at the snow and watched how they robbed my son, and I found the phone and put it in the bag for the police to get fingerprints off that are hopefully in the database," Faison says.

The victim says the vehicle was a gray four-door sedan. He'd never seen the men or the car before. The victim tells Fox 2's Ron Savage "one guy [was] with the gun and the other one was in the car, just waiting on him."

"They want to strip him naked. It's 19 degrees. He had to run through the alley and safe himself. That takes a lot out of a man, 13 years old," Faison says.

The incident has been reported to Detroit police.
