Silver Alert issued to find elderly Quincy man

QUINCY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing elderly man in Quincy.

Ying Xiang Zhang, who is 73 years old and suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, was last seen on Wednesday at noon, near Bicknell Street in Quincy.

Zhang speaks no English, does not have a cell phone, or any identification on him. The man has been known to take the MBTA to Chinatown in Boston. His route included the Germantown bus stop in Quincy Center and the Red and Orange train lines.

Anyone who thinks they might have seen Zhang, or knows where he might be should call Quincy Police at 617-479-1212.

A Silver Alert is a public notification system that in broadcast information about missing seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other mental disabilities.
