HYDE PARK, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – One person died after a shooting in Hyde Park Thursday.
Police responded to Margaretta Drive in Hyde Park Thursday around 6 p.m. for a reported shooting.
New Boston Police Department Commissioner William Evans, who was formally appointed to his post Thursday morning, was also present at the scene. Evans confirmed that one person died as a result of the incident.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the incident may have started inside a home and then moved outdoors. One person was taken into custody and police established a crime scene.
