DEDHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A serial bank robber who the FBI is calling the Brim Beanie Bandit hit another bank in Dedham Friday.
Surveillance footage from the Dedham Savings Bank on Elm Street shows the Brim Beanie Bandit robbing the bank Friday. He passed a note to the teller demanding money, officials say. In his notes, he threatens to hurt a child.
The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force says the Brim Beanie Bandit is responsible for bank robberies in Quincy, Braintree, Needham, two in Stoughton, and now one in Dedham. He also attempted to rob a bank in Dorchester. All of these incidents happened within the last month.
The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force gave the robber the name because of the distinctive head gear he wears during each robbery.
