Police seek public's help in finding murder suspect

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a murder suspect out of Framingham. The suspect, Jeremy Rodriguez, 19, of Framingham, is wanted in connection with the murder of Juan Lopez.

Lopez was shot while in the driver's seat of a motor vehicle on November 20 in Framingham. An arrest warrant was issued in December for Rodriguez. He has lived in Framingham and the Worcester area, and tends to frequent the Dorchester area.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Framingham Police Tip Line at 508-872-1212 ext. 3888 or Massachusetts State Police at 781-897-6600.

Two other men have also been charged with the murder of Lopez. Jose Cruz, 16, of Framingham and Bryan Pertarb, 20, of Hudson were arraigned Dec. 19 on charges of murder, attempted armed robbery, armed assault with intent to rob, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Both were held without bail and are due next in court on Jan. 21 for a pre-trial hearing.
