WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Two men were arrested in Worcester over the weekend in connection with the city's first homicide of 2014.

Worcester police responded to the Albion rooming house at 765 Main Street for a reported shooting Friday.

According to the Worcester County District Attorney's office, the shooting took place in the security office of the rooming house.

The suspect, 53-year-old Howard Penn, and the victim, 52-year-old Lloyd Worster, both worked for the management company of the rooming house. The DA's office said the two men were arguing when Penn shot Worster.

Penn, a resident of the rooming house, was also working there as a security guard, though the DA's office said security workers are not armed and Penn did not have a valid firearm license.

Worster was a custodian at the building. He was pronounced dead at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester just before 6:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Police arrested another resident at the rooming house in connection with the shooting Saturday. They found 33-year-old Fabiano Sanabria in one of the rooms while searching for evidence Friday and took him to police headquarters for questioning. After they finished, police arrested Sanabria in connection with the homicide. He was charged with multiple firearms-related offenses, accessory after the fact, and being an armed career criminal.

Both Penn and Sanabria will be arraigned at the Worcester County District Courthouse Monday.
