A safari in South Africa turns scary, when an elephant tramples a car and nearly kills two people.
Elephants are some of the most fascinating creatures, but they can also be extremely dangerous, especially around Musth, which is a period every year when the male elephant's testosterone rises to almost 60 times greater than other times.
Although it is not clear if this attack in South Africa was caused by musth, the elephant's behavior could definitely be explained by it.
A British school teacher and her fiancé were driving through Kruger National Park when an elephant flipped their car over.
The attack was filmed by tourists in another car who were stunned and scared for their lives too.
The woman in the car was stabbed in the thigh by the elephant's tusks. She and her fiancé were both briefly hospitalized and released. The couple was in South Africa celebrating their engagement. Sheinelle Jones did something similar a few years ago. Of course, nothing this scary happened during her honeymoon, thank goodness!
