Officials: Student lied about gun in school, prompted shelter in place
ISPWICH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – School officials in Ipswich say a student reported a gun had been brought into the school, but later admitted to making the story up.
A shelter in place order was issued at Ipswich High School Friday morning after the student said a middle school student had brought a gun into the building two weeks ago. School officials said the student that made the claim later confessed they had made it up.
