Baby boy hears his mothers' voices for the first time: VIDEO

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Thanks to the miracle of technology, a beautiful moment is being shared with the world. Dylan Lipton Lesser, 23 months, recently heard his mothers' voices for the first time, and the reaction is priceless.

Dylan was born on Valentine's Day nearly two years ago, to India Lipton and Shirley Lesser. He was 11 weeks premature, weighing only 3 lbs. He spent the first 101 days of his life fighting a dangerous infection in the NICU. While battling the infection, he developed Hydrocephalus. The unbelievably strong baby boy has undergone 15 brain surgeries since.

Dylan developed moderate hearing loss in 2013. He was recently fitted for hearing aids at Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University. His mothers were able to record his reaction to hearing their voices for the first time since le lost his ability to do so.

That infectious laughter, and his improving health, are the wonderful results of a long journey for such a young boy.
