AURORA, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A 4-year-old girl in west suburban Aurora was killed Sunday evening when a television fell on her head.

Preliminary results of a Monday autopsy found Cyliyah Yarbrough died of cranial-cerebral injuries from a falling television, the Kane County Coroner said in a statement.

The girl's mother called police about 5:49 p.m. to their apartment in the 1200 block of Nantucket Road, according to Aurora police.

The girl was taken to Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora where she was pronounced dead at 6:34 p.m., police said.

Cyliyah's death is thought to be accidental, though police and the coroner's office continue to investigate. At the time she was killed, her mother and a younger sibling were home in the apartment, police said.
